History ::War of Ages (sometimes abbreviated WOA, formerly known as Point Zero) is a Christian metalcore band formed during the summer of 2002 in Erie, Pennsylvania. They have done five music videos: "All Consuming Fire", "Stand Your Ground", "Through the Flames", "Strength Within", and "Collapse". Aaron Harkness popularly known as Aaron Martyr made the appearance in Stand your Ground music video. They have played many shows with bands such as Underoath, Becoming the Archetype, Living Sacrifice, Bury Your Dead, The Acacia Strain, As I Lay Dying, Demon Hunter, P.O.D. and Throwdown. War Of Ages will be doing a music video for a song or two for the new album. WOA's drummer Alex Hamp said "Their very excited about the new album, and it will have a different sound from the previous releases, we also decided to use a different producer other than Tim Lambesis. This producer is out of Boston". There are no guest singers on this album. War of Ages will be headlining Facedown Records's festival held in 2012.
War of Ages self-titled debut album War of Ages was released in July 2005 on Strike First Records and in February 2006, they were signed to the Facedown Records and recorded their second full-length album, Pride of the Wicked, that was released in September 2006. Arise and Conquer in 2008. The band's fourth offering Eternal, was released April 13, 2010. The band is known for their strong Christian faith which is expressed in their lyrics.
